Comprehensive Orthodontic Treatment
We offer comprehensive orthodontic treatment for adolescents to correct a wide variety of orthodontic problems. With our comprehensive treatment, typically braces are applied to both the upper and lower teeth, so that we can correct any occurrences of misalignment, jaw dysfunction, or malocclusion (bad bite). The goal of orthodontic treatment is to correct any and all of these problems, and provide the patient with a functional, healthy and beautiful smile!
Orthodontic treatment will usually be carried out by first placing the appliances, then having scheduled adjustment and follow-up appointments, followed by a retention phase after the appliances are removed to keep the teeth in their new alignment. The time this process requires will obviously vary from patient to patient depending on the severity and types of orthodontic problems they are suffering from, anywhere from 9 to 24 months.
